MISSION STATEMENT

The Theatre Department serves a variety of students by including three different areas of study: Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Technical Theatre. Within each of these programs, students will learn about and practice theatre arts, developing skills in a working professional environment. Students will have the opportunity to be involved in Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center performances, which will help educate, inspire, and broaden their interests.

COURSE OF STUDY

The theatre curriculum is based on a college model, and consists of courses ranging from introductory to advanced study. These classes will provide students with a well-rounded and challenging education, with numerous opportunities for hands-on professional experience. Students will be able to use this training to succeed in a number of different opportunities available in professional theatre, or in numerous other career paths.
